Delhi Belly

Delhi Belly: the sudden urge to run as quickly as possible to the nearest western toilet. This can happen as many as 6 times a day/night. Delhi Belly afflicts not only westerners and tourists, but also natives. Apparently all that lovely and spicy, greasy food has caught up with us. So for the last 3 days, Dan and I have lived in our apartment, surviving on nothing but instant rice, crackers, plain oatmeal and campbells soup. After finishing two giant books, endless newspapers, countless games of Tetris, and having beaten Dan over and over at card games, I wanted out! So here we are at the internet cafe, debating over our next bland meal. Perhaps a bagel (thankgodtherearebagels!)
Wish us luck and a speedy recovery!

Gumbard - Nicaragua? Haven't you toppled enough regimes and overinvested in enough currencies already? What's the story this time? Coffee, I assume. Are you buying a load? What's Jessica doing in the meantime. Tell her to come to Delhi.

Oh my , I miss a day and come back to find out you were both smitten by the unwashed in bottled water rice.

Hope that you both feel ok on the outting, hate to find you on a nasty bus ride etc and in need of facilities..

best wishes
