Going to Northern India!
Tomorrow morning (feb 17), bright and early, Danny and I are headed to Northern India, taking the train to Kalka, then a "toy" tourist train (very cute) to Shimla. We'll spend a few days there, taking in the Hill Station views ((Himalayas!)). Weather will be nice and cool, a good contrast to the warmer days we've been having in Delhi. It might even rain! (we haven't seen rain in the whole month we've been here). After a few days there we'll take the bus up to McLeod Gange, just outside Dharamsala (home of the Dalai Lama!) According to Lonely planet, McLeod Gange is known for its friendly Tibetan Monks, western food, budget hotels, and Tibetan souvenirs. Since we can't actually go to Tibet or Nepal, this is as close as it gets. We'll be back in town March 1st, which is wednesday. In the event that we can't find phones or internet, don't worry. We're fine. We're really excited to be taking this trip together! Wish us luck. Happy Belated Valentines Day.
Love you guys and take care!
Rachel and Danny

You bastards deleted my other comment. I miss you guys anyway. The pics are amazing. The comments read like Rick Steves' travel guides. I don't know which one of you is writing them, but you should consider a career in travel writing. I can't wait till you guys get back. - Charles
